MONTBLANC" FOUNTAIN PEN, LIMITED SERIES QING DISNASTY. Barrel made of black precious resin and cap made of jade. Nib made of 18 Kts gold, tip M. Limited edition (2002 pieces). No box. Dimensions: length 14 cm, diameter 19 mm. With this fountain pen, Montblanc pays tribute to the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912), the last imperial dynasty of China, with a fountain pen of great aesthetic beauty. During the Qing dynasty, Chinese master craftsmen made unique sculptures from jade, which characterised an entire era. The limited number of this piece, 2002 examples, is due to the year in which the fountain pen went on sale. The Montblanc Qing Dinasty 2002 fountain pen has the same size as a 146 Legrand. The cap is made of genuine jade and features a five-clawed dragon, which is carefully engraved by hand. The barrel of the pen is made of precious Montblanc noble resin in black, the clip and rings of the pen are gold-plated. The 18 K gold-plated nib is engraved with a dragon, a symbol of good luck in the Asian market. Medium tip.
