Henri-Michel-Antoine CHAPU (1833-1891), after the bust of Ferdinand Barbedienne. Inscribed on the base "A F. Barbedienne Le personnel de son atelier de réduction 1882" Brown patina bronze on a black marble saddle. Signed on the back Ch. C - F. Barbedienne, founder Paris. H. 33 cm After the marble bust commissioned by the staff of his workshop and kept at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Caen.
