Description
Lantern of church in gilded brass engraved with friezes of flowers and foliage, four holds with decoration of cherubs, with its chains. Inscription on top : "this lempe was made by the boys of the comune of cours les St Maurice in the year 1808". Work of the 19th century (later addition of two gilded metal light arms on each side). Height. 27 cm The church of the commune of Cour-Saint-Maurice (Doubs) was rebuilt in the 18th century on the foundations of a monument dating from the 12th century.
