Brown ink on double sheet of laid paper. Slightly pale ink. Epistolary poem : "Yes, noble heart, I love. Yes, noble spirit, I believe. At the threshold of my house, in Hauteville, you read: Ama, crede. The great soul who is in the great brightness sees that I cry, and knows that I hope. Your friend. V.H.".
