Single-shot Aydt system rifle caliber 8.15 x 46 Norm.., Aydt" mechanism with falling block and lower lever opening, case-hardened, detachable stecher trigger mechanism, heavy 720 mm octagonal rifled barrel, "barley grain" protected front sight, graduated dovetail range on upper side and swan-neck diopter base, barrel engraved on chamber "C.G. Haenel Suhl", case engraved "Haenel Original Aydt", cheek stock with half-moon fang layer, storage oxidation otherwise ABE-BE, LT 1200 mm, no. 19547, category D § e. Note: the Aydt drop-block system was designed by German gunsmith Carl Wilhelm AYDT (1847-1923) and patented in 1885.

Unknown (Switzerland or Germany?), late 19th century. Martini system drop-block rifle, unmarked. Cal. 5.5 mm. All metal parts in their original jaspered and black-tanned finish, with minor traces of oxidation in places. Strong octagonal ribbed barrel with longitudinal dovetail rail and movable micrometer sight. Jaspered breechcase with chased geometric frieze decoration on the rim, monogrammed "CP". Fine chequered walnut stock, buttplate with beaks. Double trigger stretcher, scroll trigger guard with finger rest. Mechanism not functional, not blocked. Dirty barrel with good scratches. 115 cm (barrel 69 cm). (Fairly good condition). Classified "D" weapon.
