Luxurious DAGUE of venerie XVIIIth century Mounting in bronze and stag horn. Oval openwork cap with vegetal decoration. Chiseled joint bow decorated with a hunter wearing a tricorn with a stick in the right hand, the left hand rests on a dagger that he wears at the belt. Body knot with a leaping lion motif, quillon in the extension with a zoomorphic head. The ferrule is decorated with an openwork design following the body knot. Round concave keyboard decorated with a hunting scene, featuring a deer between the pack of dogs and the rider. Spindle in section of a stag horn. Signed blade with a slightly curved throat with hunting decoration of a boar in race. Wooden scabbard covered with leather with two finely chiseled trimmings, heart-shaped cap button under the housing of the batards. Chiseled cap with vegetal decoration, cap with decoration of a fox in race. Complete with its two brass cofferdams and riveted black horn plates. Good condition, total length Fine German work from the second half of the 18th century
