First edition of this work published in 8 fascicles under the direction of M. Henri de Weindel and prefaced by Gabriel Hanotaux. Composed of texts from different authors, it aimed to give a complete account of the facts that took place from 1917 to 1922, after the Russian revolution that caused the fall of the Empire. The book is illustrated with numerous black and colored life drawings, as well as several reproductions of photographs. Spines of the issues reinforced, some tears and sunning to the covers, second cover of the first issue missing, replaced by a green cardboard paper. restoration to the first two leaves of the first issue and pages 209-210, 218 and 220. Without the original slipcase replaced by a modern folder and slipcase.
