One of the most beautiful illustrated editions of this famous novel written in Quebec in 1913 by the writer Louis Hémon, decorated with 55 color compositions, including one on the title and a cul-de-lampe, by the Quebec artist Clarence Gagnon (1881-1942) who devoted 3 years to its elaboration. A numbered off-print copy on white Rives paper, specially printed for Mr. Fascholin, very well preserved. Spine faded.
