Description
11.5x7 cm The engraving belonged to a series of 37 prints dedicated to the Passion of Christ made by burin on copper, copies of Albrecht Dürer's well-known "Little Passion" series on wood. Raimondi copies them with obvious reproductive intent. The proposed engraving, lacking the year (1511), and the monogram can certainly be dated after the lawsuit filed by Dürer in Venice against Raimondi.
