Oil on canvas 125x88 cm; with frame 143x105 cm 18th century At the feet of Jesus, kneeling and distraught, Virgin Mary, to the left with outstretched arms Mary Magdalene, to the right St. John while having a vision. Completing the painting is a bare-chested, turned figure of a young man who has one hand on a basket covered by a cloth and with the other holds a rope coming out of it; standing to his right is a figure of an old man with a turban pointing to the ground. To the left of the painting, turned around, are two dignitaries with their backs to each other speaking, one of them holding a golden pommel staff behind his back. Behind the cross a temple is glimpsed, and on the mountain side a turreted city.
