MAILLET VASE in porcelain and cobalt blue and doucai enamels, decorated with a meeting of dignitaries seated on large armchairs in a garden animated by pierced rocks, pines and court figures holding standards and fans. The neck decorated with bamboo stems in blue underglaze and encircled by a bronze frame. Double circle in blue under the base. (Large crack crossing from the shoulder to the heel, glaze chips on the opening, scratches, bronze mount glued to the neck). China, late 19th century.
