Illustrated with 5 superb full-page burin engravings by Stanley William HAYTER. Printed at 80 copies numbered and signed by the author and the artist. 1 of the 5 first copies on Japon impérial, after the unique copy (ex. n°1) including a suite of engravings, on vergé de Hollande (?), which have been interfoliated and 7 (not 5 as announced) handwritten pages by the author : handwritten copy in ink on 7 in-4° sheets, on pistachio vellum, of the poem : " Commode ou quelques instants d'une vie impériale ", signed by Georges Hugnet and dated in fine, May 1928, in graphite. At the top corner of the 1st sheet, the following mention handwritten in graphite: "copy n°3. Version published in the European magazine (1930). Occasionally heavy foxing on the covers aside, the interior is very clean. VERY GOOD WORK, ex. n°1 on Japon.
