- Couturier Collection, Paris. - The identification of the subject is due to the art historian Bernard Dorival who was the first to compare our painting with an engraving whose model is Jean de Gomont, administrator of the Hôpital de la Pitié, dated 1665 and after another painting by Jacob van Loo
