LOW SCREEN OF LIVING ROOM WITH SIX LEAVES Contemporary design. Wood and velvet fabric chiseled on both sides. H. 121 cm L. of a leaf. 59 cm. Sheet of velvet : 115 cm x 57 cm Cloth scratched in the lower part. The frame is made of finely molded fruitwood, formerly gilded. Each panel is covered with crimson velvet in the 18th century style, decorated with a flower in full bloom from a ribbon tied in a network of palms and garlands of flowers. It is fixed by a row of round-headed copper nails. We thank M. de Villelume, expert in fabrics, for his advice.
