The last great novel, hailed by the critics who, from Marcel Arland to Robert Poulet, have recognized the writer's mastery. Copy on green paper, with large margins, probably unique. The edition is not mentioned by Talvart and Place. Superb autograph letter signed on the false title: To Gabriel Daragnès // to my old Gab, as a token // of affection, in memory of a great // lot of common memories and, at // certain times, future // his old friend // Pierre The two friends often collaborated together, Daragnès having illustrated several of Mac Orlan's novels. Mac Orlan published an Éloge de Daragnès in 1956. A perfectly preserved copy.
