Beautiful autograph letter signed on the false-title : To Madame Rachilde // as a token of deep literary // sympathy and as a token - which spoils nothing - of respectful and grateful friendship // for // the one who was willing to lead // my date in the world, rue // de la Paix. // P. Mac Orlan // 1923 Good copy as issued. Two other books by Pierre Mac Orlan are included: - Le Nègre Léonard and Maître Jean Mullin. Paris, La Banderole, [1920]. In-12 of 147 pp, (2) ff. the last blank : half black morocco with corners, spine gilt, cover and spine preserved. First edition dedicated to Daragnès, illustrated with color compositions in the text and on full page by Chas Laborde, woodcut by Robert Dill. Numbered copy on lafuma (n° 465).
