Art dealer and collector, Henri-Pierre Roché (1879-1959) played a key role in the development of art in his time. He is the late author of Jules and Jim (1953), successfully adapted to the cinema by François Truffaut (1962). He met Cocteau in 1914, with whom he maintained a very friendly relationship.
