To Jean Paul Sartre // In very cordial homage // Bachelard
Meeting at the top of the two philosophers, all the more evocative as Gaston Bachelard quotes
Jean-Paul Sartre several times and dedicates him an analysis of La Nausée (pages 112-114). And if both are based on a phenomenology of imagination, Sartre places L'Imaginaire (1940) under the sign of suspicion, while Bachelard opted for a poetics of wonder.
