A BRONZE FIGURE OF SEATED BUDDHA, 1920-1940
Nepal. Seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base, atop a reticulated pedestal adorned with figurines. The face with downcast eyes, flanked by long earlobes, the hair pulled into a high chignon.
Provenance: German private collection.
Condition: Very good condition, minor wear, remnants of gilt lacquer, and casting flaws. The head with a nail on the back.
