A CLOISONNE ENAMEL TRIPOD CENSER, LATE QING DYNASTY China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century. The globular body supported on three conical feet and rising to a short neck with everted rim and upright square handles, the matching lid with two heart-shaped apertures, enameled with auspicious symbols on turquoise ground, the base with an apocryphal two-character Zhengde reign mark. Provenance: German private collection. Condition: extensive traces of wear and age, material loss, dents, chips and one handle somewhat loose. Weight: 671.7 g Dimensions: Height 21 cm
