ARMAND-DUMARESQ (Charles-Edouard) Uniforms of the French army in 1861, drawn under the direction of Major General Hecquet according to the orders of M. le Maréchal Minister of War. Paris, Lemercier lithographic printing house, 1861. In plano, printed publisher's cardboard. Complete suite consisting of a title, a table and 56 lithographed plates in bistre. General Maneque's stamp on the title page. (Cover faded, interiors with freckles and stains but quite nice colors, plate 25 torn in the margin and a few mm on the image) Provenance: General Claude MANEQUE (1812-1870), by descent.
