Description
Daum Nancy. Cup in blown glass, acid-etched and enamelled polychrome and gold, with muffle. The cup presents on its body a Gallic rooster crowing, in the rising sun, on a branch of oak and titled "Vigilat". It is surrounded by flowering thistles on a varnished background and flanked by a cross of Lorraine. The lip bears the words: "XIIIème concours national et international de tir * Nancy 1906". On its foot, hot welded, green tinted glass and green lined, runs a decoration speaking: "He who rubs it stings it" surrounding the coat of arms of the city of Nancy. Height. 11,5 cm. Diam. 10,7 cm. Accident at the joint of the pedestal to the cup. Old restoration.
