Pair of armchairs in grey relacquered wood, flat backs ending in plumes, armrests with lions' heads, fluted legs. Framing of the file underlined by friezes of piastres and holly leaves. The belt rudentée with frieze of pearls. Attributed to Nicolas-Louis DELAISEMENT, received master in 1776. Louis XVI period. Modern velvet upholstery with small red Veraseta checks. Provenance: part of a living room furniture - sale Sotheby's Monaco, December 11, 1999; sale Phillips New-York, December 05, 2001.
