A DRAWING, PASTEL ON PAPER, SIGNED LOWER RIGHT, CHINA, 20TH CENTURY. 45,7 X 37 CM (18 X 14 9/16 IN.) NOTE Arrived in Paris in 1933, he studied at the École des Beaux-arts and became a student of Xu Beihong. In 1937, he opened his own sculpture studio. He was the first Chinese artist to win the gold medal at the Salon du Printemps in Paris. bottom right.
