SUMMER JACKET in green silk embroidered with floral and auspicious motifs, the perimeter trimmed with a band of cream silk embroidered with gold and polychrome threads, the treasures of the eight immortals among flowers, the wide sleeves underlined with cream silk with polychrome decoration of characters; with openwork gilt copper buttons. Attached is a pale green silk skirt, decorated with gold and black thread embroidery, of a garden view with lotus flowers, rock and bridge. (Slight wear to the inside of the jacket, the inner flap shorter). China, late Qing period, early 20th century.
