Small dish in Italian majolica of the 16th century, perhaps Faenza or Venice Dated 1532 Decorated in the center polychrome of the bust of a young woman wearing a turban and framed by a phylactery inscribed and bearing the date 1532, in a medallion formed of waves with stylized flowers, the wing with bianco sopra bianco decoration of a large frieze of clashing palmettes between two braids standing out on a pale blue background, one section restored with cracking, chips and enamel jumps on the reverse D. 23.5 cm.
