Sumptuous table service, tablecloth and eighteen damask napkins, the attack of the lion, mid-19th century. In superb linen damask with a rich animated scene of a group of riders with turban and rifle in hand, one of the riders in full gallop attacked by a lion in front of which two men flee in panic on a background of desert mountains and lush vegetation in the foreground, beautiful framing of a wide border with elegant motifs of neo-Gothic style and cartridges with different motifs for each of the spandrels: rider in front of his horse, camel and camel driver, group of riders and group of characters. Complex figure HI (?) topped by a crown embroidered in red and white. Dim. tablecloth : 4,35 x 2,40 m, napkins : 90 x 76 cm (good condition, light soiling to the folds of the tablecloth, some pale halos or small traces of storage on a dozen napkins, more marked on one)
