Large pair of Louis XVI style sconces in chased and gilt bronze, with two twisted arms of light. Each light is decorated with heads of goats, eagles holding in their beak a garland of flowers, in the center a mascaron crowned with flowers, oak leaves and acanthus. The shaft formerly blue lacquered decorated with scrolling foliage, topped by a pine cone. This pair of sconces was realized after a drawing of Jean-Louis PRIEUR (1732-1795).
