Maurice Henry (1907-1984), alternately or simultaneously journalist, painter, poet, cartoonist, gagman, scriptwriter, decorator etc., had been one of the founders of the Grand Jeu before joining the Surrealists in 1933 and remaining a fellow traveler until the end.
