L'Herbe à la lune bears a dozen autograph corrections as well as an autograph letter signed "to Paul Eluard / with the deepest / sympathy and admiration / Valentine Penrose / August 1935".
Bound at the head, a beautiful autograph letter signed by Valentine Penrose addressed to Paul Eluard on July 22, 1935. She regrets not being able to see him and thanks him for his preface.
