Precious autograph letter signed to Jean Marais dating from the beginning of their adventure and decorated with a drawing : to my Galaad / the very pure / little Jean / Jean / January 1938.
Jean Marais had won a triumph a few months earlier in the role of Galaad in the Knights of the Round Table created at the Théâtre Antoine in October 1937.
One month after receiving this copy, Jean Marais and Jean Cocteau stayed together for the first time in Montargis (February 1938).
