Jean COCTEAU. Cri écrite. Montpellier, 1925. In-4, in sheets, printed cover of buff paper filled Rare first edition. It is illustrated, as a frontispiece, with a line composition by Henri de la Jonquière, featuring two sailors sitting on the sail of a boat in the middle of the sea. Limited edition of 58 copies. This one is one of the 50 on Hollande paper (n° 34). The publication is due to the initiative of a group of students from Montpellier. Text and illustration were jointly published in the regional review Les Amitiés Languedociennes. Copy preserved as published. Small lack and tear to the cover. Also by the same author : - Poetry 1917-1920. Paris, Éditions de la Sirène, 1920. In-8, blue half-calf Bradel, untrimmed, cover preserved (modern binding). First edition.
