ALBUM AMICORUM. Guestbook of Sergio Rusconi illustrated with 54 drawings. Circa 1962-1980. Album in-4 (26,7 x 20 cm) : red leather, smooth spine, gilt edges. Superb guestbook illustrated with 54 large original drawings, including compositions by Tristan Tzara, Max Ernst, Matta, Wifredo Lam, Fontana. Other contributions are signed Bettina, Paloma Picasso, Mario Rossello, Gaïtis, Schmeiser Ida (?), Bruno, Shirley Goldfarb, GM, Naimo, Bellegarde, Pistoletto, Nando, Lariggi, K. Bleisch (?), Scanavino, Erró, Arroyo, Manfredi, Volpini, Guy Harloff, Aurelio, Vago, Sandro Sornori, Giulio Giniglia, Aricó, Merlin... (?), Royato, Rigon, Afoltern (?), FD, Turchiaro, Tomekimaki, Licata, Ivana, Hiquily, Aldo Mondino, Francini, Tomer (?), A. Picini, Olivieri, Pellicanò, Tumarki, Georgein. Sergio Rusconi organized in June-July 1960 with Alain Jouffroy and Jean-Jacques Lebel the collective exhibition Anti-Procès II at the Venetian gallery "Il Canale" - the protesting counterpart to the Biennale. The highlight was the burial of "La Chose", a funeral procession for a sculpture by Jean Tinguely thrown into the Grand Canal: one of the first happenings in Europe.
