In-12: grey box, smooth spine with cold filets titled, geometrical decoration on both boards framed by cold filets, gilt edges on witnesses, havana suede lining and endpapers, covers and spine preserved, half-box gilt folder titled, slipcase (Leroux, 1983). Original French edition translated by Victor Orban. Important reading notes published from 1844 to 1849 in several American magazines; they had not been translated by Baudelaire. One of 12 copies on hollande, the only large paper (no. 1).
