Ubu sur la butte. Reduction in two acts of Ubu Roi represented the year 1901 to the Guignol des 4-z'Arts with the assistance of the famous Anatole des Champ-Elysées. Paris, E. Sansot, 1906. In-16 of 62 pp, (1) f. : half-maroquin with long grain à la Bradel, smooth spine, entirely untrimmed, green paper covers printed in red and yellow preserved (later binding). First edition. Limited edition of 600 copies; this one of 400 on tinted laid paper. Reduction of Ubu roi in two acts for the famous Montmartre cabaret Quat'z'Art, with insertion of cabaret style songs. It was first performed in 1901. A very nice copy. One finds bound at the head the binder's slip mentioning "M. Méric maroquin".
