- five silver photographs: portrait of Victor Hugo with his two small children taken in Guernsey on postcard, four pictures, size 136 x 89 mm, showing the author, his daughter-in-law and his son in the gardens of Hauteville House, then on the coast of the island (August 1919 - August 1920).
- a letter from the bookbinder Henri Mercher, dated February 1968, evoking the decoration of the binding ordered by Valentine Hugo.
