Nine full-page compositions by Henry Holiday (1839-1927). The illustrator had drawn a tenth plate illustrating the Snark, but the author wished to keep the unimaginable creature.
A fine copy, complete with the double leaf "An Easter Greeting to every child who loves", format in-16, mounted at the head.
