First edition: it is illustrated with two engravings outside the text after L. Ostrowski.
One of the rare copies on China paper.
A perfect copy bound for Jolly Bavoillot (cat. 1896, n° 102).
It passed without the library of Prince Alexandre Bibesco (1842-1911), man of letters and devoted friend of Marcel Proust: he had his gilt figure stamped in the upper corner of the first plate.
