First edition. One of the few copies printed on Holland laid paper, the only large paper with two chine. Long signed autograph letter (unfortunately the name of the dedicatee has been crossed out): To Mr. [name crossed out]/testament of gratitude for/its empressed care/Th. De Banville/Monsieur [name crossed out] aux humains/Books these small Sketches:/My book, in better hands.
