Naval officer's saber Model 1837. Gilded brass mounting with a guard branch on a jointed arch joined by an openwork plate decorated with a naval anchor and interlacing. Curved quillon and finely chiseled cap. Cap with rocaille decoration. Horn spindle, missing the filigree. Blade by "Coulaux Cie Klingenthal" slightly curved with gutter and throat. Leather drum (accidents) with two brass fittings, Chappe decorated with a navy anchor, bolt with interlacing patterns and palmette sting. Length of the blade : 70 cm. Total length: 85 cm.
