Yatagan Ottoman world, 19th century Length 79,5 cm This yatagan has a typical steel blade with an inner edge. The blade is engraved on one side with a calligraphic inscription, bearing a signature and the date (1283 AH - 1866 AD). A gilded copper plate covers the ferrule and the heel of the blade, with applied filigree and granulation and granulations, and decorated on each side with a green glass bead. The typical handle is made of double marine ivory plates fixed by nails on both sides of a on both sides of a gilded copper edge with applied decoration, decorated with oblong coral beads. - gues engraved with lines.
