Douceur d'été, 2015. Bronze with a shaded green brown patina, signed, numbered 3/8 and bearing the stamp of the founder Chapon in Paris. H. 69 cm - W. 30 cm - D. 31 cm. With certificate of authenticity written by the artist dated July 20, 2016. French sculptor and painter, Marie-Paule DEVILLE-CHABROLLE was born in Morocco and trained in Pau, then in Cambodia. Recognized on the art market and on the institutional scene, she was chosen to sculpt the Marianne in 2000, based on the model of Laetitia Casta. She also works for the Daum crystal factory. Three to four personal exhibitions are dedicated to her each year in France. Marie-Paule DEVILLE-CHABROLLE expresses her talent through sculptures of female nudes in bronze, classical statues with a languid air. Douceur d'été, created in 2015, shows a young woman, kneeling, her face with closed eyes, turned towards the warmth of the sun. The bronze has a beautiful olive green patina. The sculpture Douceur d'été, comes with a certificate of authenticity from the artist. The sensuality and softness that emanate from the work will harmoniously complete a classic or modern interior.
