Description
Max Le Verrier (1891-1973) Head of a thoroughbred Bronze with brown patina Signed "M Le Verrier" and marked "BRONZE H. 12.5 cm high and rests on a grey marble base. Max Le Verrier devoted himself to sculpture after the First World War in which he took part as a pilot. He made many Art Deco and animal bronzes for which he sometimes did the casting himself.
