The first two contain illustrations from Grandville's Scènes de la vie privée et publique des animaux and Métamorphoses du Jour; the third is Le Renard illustrated by Kaulbach. First printing of 41 plates and numerous vignettes in the text by GRANDVILLE. Covers worn, spines rubbed, scattered foxing. "One of Grandville's best books" according to Carteret. (Carteret, III, 241.)
