On June 30, he thanks his correspondent: "I am deeply touched by your sending, and sensitive to the artistic quality of which it offers me the precious testimony! (...)" [Claude Rémusat made a portrait of Cortot in 1957] and concludes his letter by evoking the auditions of the students; on November 10, he still testifies to his admiration for his work.
