A pair of percussion pockets pistols in an elegant leather case
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Belgium, Round, smoothbore, turn-off, 11.5 mm cal barrels; boxlock frames finely engraved with floral motifs, with foldaway trigger, marked 'AF' (Auguste Francotte) underneath and both with number '37'. Drop-shaped, wooden butt. Kept in their wooden case, covered with leather decorated with impressions, provided with two closure hooks. Lined with velvet. length 22.2 cm.
