A pair of percussion target pistols with barrels signed Pirko
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Vienna, Octagonal, micro-checkered, twisted, 12 mm cal barrels (clean bores), browned and signed in gold 'C. Pirko in Wien', base with frames, marks of the Liege test bench on one side; tang finely engraved and provided with sight; pistons with long base. Locks located behind, engraved with floral motifs, long cocks with sheath at the front. Wooden half stocks, butts checkered with scales and sculpted with a shell on the fore-end cap, iron mounts engraved en suite, trigger guard with finger support, triggers with set trigger.
