A rare S&W Model 3 Russian First Model revolver (Old Old Model Russian)

dating: 1871 - 1874 provenance: Russian Empire, Round, 8 'rifled, 44 Russian cal barrel (visible rifling, some pitting inside). Rib marked with the company name and Springfield address in Cyrillic, at the end the double-headed eagle mark and the' K O 'marks. Remains of the mark 'D' circled on the sides. Slight remains of antique bluing. Six-shot cylinder, working mechanism and extractor (the cylinder block needs revision). Cyrillic marks. Frame with mark 'D' inside a circle, remains of ancient bluing (about 10%). Smooth wooden grips. Hook, cylinder and handle with coeval serial number '11xx'. The handle also features a Cyrillic mark coeval with the cylinder. Barrel with numbers (not clearly legible but probably coeval). Some pitting, signs of use and time. Complete with loop. length 33,5 cm.
