ENAMEL FOLIAGE BROOCH, GIFT FROM KING LEOPOLD I In 18K yellow gold, the foliage in green enamel, set with 6 baroque pearls (probably natural) and rose cut diamonds. In its original case stamped IM surmounted by a coronet, above the date 5 juin 1851 Hallmark: B Dim: 6 x 6,5 cm - Pb: 30,1 g Provenance: comte Ferdinand de Meeus, then by descent to the actual owners This brooch was a gift from King Leopold I of the Belgians for the wedding of Count Ferdinand de Meeus with Isalide de Potesta on 5 June 1851
