Set of two prints published by GOUPIL and VIBERT, around 1850. - After Henri Frédéric SCHOPIN, engraved by Hippolyte GARNIER (1802-1855). "Arrival of Rebekah"; - After Horace VERNET, engraved by Jean Pierre Marie JAZET (1788-1871). "Abraham sends back Hagar". (some spotting and light freckling). Height : 81 cm. 81 cm - Width : 63,5 cm (each). They are presented in two blackened wood frames enhanced with a gilded fillet forming a pendant. The house of Goupil and Vibert is specialized in prints of reproduction of works of the great masters. For this purpose, it calls upon engravers of great technicality such as Hippolyte GARNIER or Jean Pierre Marie JAZET. The original painting of Horace Vernet is today exposed in the Museum of Arts of Nantes.
